Custom built and sized sectionals and sofas
The functionality and adaptability of a custom made sectional or sofa can be a wonderful addition to a living area. KL Design starts with a custom design process including sketches and mechanical drawings, hand picked hardwoods and cabinet grade plywoods for the corner blocked frame, 8 way, hand tied coils spring foundations and Ultra Cell foam and Terylene wrap round out the padding. The client is then invited to "test sit" the piece before the upholstery process begins to ensure a completely custom experience. Custom built legs and bases are made from various hardwoods and finished with waterbourne stains and finishes.

KL Design Furniture produces custom made dining chairs and counter or bar stools according to the clients specifications on design, hieght and comfort. Starting with hand picked hardwoods for the frames, either hand sprung or rubber webbed seats and backs, depending on design, Ultra Cell foam and Terylene wrap result on highly comfortable pieces that will compliment any dining room or kitchen.

Dovetail, contrast dowel and tenon jointery ensures long lasting quality while German engineered hardware, pulls and handles provide ease of operation of drawers and doors. Waterbourne stains and finishes bring out the beauty of the hardwood with out the off-gassing or VOCs.
